Kumpulan Melaka Recreations & Resort Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 27th July 1995. On the 4th of July 2003, the name was changed to Melaka ICT Holdings Sd. Bhd. It is wholly owned by the Chief Minister INC. Melaka. The authorized capital is RM 1,000,000.00 while the paid up capital is RM 600,000.00.Melaka ICT Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was awarded MSC Status Incubator on 15th July 2004.
The company was founded and driven by its Director, Datuk Seri Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, who realized that there are tremendous potential for Melaka ICT Holdings to actively participate in ICT activities, taking advantage of its position as the ICT master service provider of Melaka's IT city, Hang Tuah Jaya. The move has proven to be successful as it enabled State Government of Melaka to cut cost.
The business of MICTH is mainly concentrated on ICT development in Melaka state. Taking advantage of its position as ICT master service provider of Melaka's IT city Hang Tuah Jaya, the company now plans to build on the success and to expand its activities nationally, in due course regionally. |
