Background
Melaka ICT Holdings Sdn Bhd (MICTH) is a wholly-owned company of Melaka State Government through the Melaka State Trust Fund. Established in July 2003, MICTH has been given the responsibility to drive the development of the telecommunications and ICT sector for the entire Melaka State.
Today, MICTH led by Tuan Haji Zulkiply Harun, has transformed in full fledge telecommunication and ICT company, supported by our dedicated and technically qualified employees; thus ensuring reliable, professional and quality services.
MICTH has been mandated by the Melaka State Government to build, control and maintain the construction of telecommunication towers throughout the State of Melaka. MICTH also works with telecommunications companies to meet the demand for cellular and broadband services to consumers.
The construction of the telecommunications structure is in line with the efforts of the Melaka State Government to overcome Drop Call problems in order to achieve Zero Blind Spot targets in the state.
In addition, MICTH in partnership with several business partners, is developing a fiber optic infrastructure network for Melaka. This move will offer faster speed and more extensive broadband services.
Melaka ICT Holdings Sdn Bhd (MICTH) adalah sebuah syarikat milik penuh kerajaan Negeri Melaka melalui Tabung Amanah Negeri Melaka. Ditubuhkan pada Julai 2003, MICTH telah diberi tanggungjawab untuk memacu pembangunan sektor telekomunikasi dan ICT bagi seluruh Negeri Melaka.
Hari ini, MICTH yang diketuai oleh Tuan Haji Zulkiply Harun, telah berkembang pesat menjadi sebuah syarikat telekomunikasi dan ICT, disokong oleh kakitangan teknikal yang berdedikasi dan berkelayakan; dengan itu memastikan perkhidmatan yang boleh dipercayai, profesional dan berkualiti.
MICTH telah diberi mandat oleh kerajaan Negeri Melaka untuk membina, mengawal dan menyelenggara pembinaan menara telekomunikasi di seluruh Negeri Melaka. MICTH juga bekerjasama dengan syarikat-syarikat telekomunikasi untuk memenuhi permintaan kemudahan perkhidmatan selular dan jalur lebar kepada pengguna.
Pembinaan struktur telekomunikasi adalah seiring dengan usaha Kerajaan Negeri Melaka mengatasi masalah Drop Call demi mencapai sasaran Zero Blind Spot di negeri ini.
Selain itu, MICTH dengan kerjasama beberapa rakan niaga, sedang membangunkan rangkaian infrastruktur gentian optik untuk negeri Melaka. Langkah ini akan bakal menawarkan perkhidmatan jalur lebar yang lebih pantas dan meluas.
